Wishing You Well Graduation Door Display

Celebrate the end of the school year with a bright Wishing You Well door display! Fill your door with a vibrant garden well and a field of flowers to honor each graduate for a sweet send-off they’ll always remember.

Adapt this idea to a hallway display for a full graduating class, an office display honoring a coworker’s retirement, or even a hospital display for patients in long-term care.

Directions

1. Create the base! Cover the background of your door with white (or light blue) paper on top and light green paper on bottom to simulate sky and grass. We recommend overlapping these backgrounds slightly for a finished look. Have fun playing with the shape of the “horizon line”. Next, add trim to the edge of the door with Rainbow Cheer Bolder Borders®. Then, add the message “Wishing You Well” to the top of the door. We used a combination of uppercase Summer Morning Playful Ready Letters® and Garden Path Tiles Ready Letters® to create ours.
2. Build your well! The well from the Well Wishes Bulletin Board Set is the hero of this piece! Hang this and the coordinating bucket on your door. Then handwrite “Class of” onto the base of the well along with “2025” using Garden Path Tiles Ready Letters® as shown.
3. Add a field of flowers! Write each student’s name onto the Garden Flowers Classic Accents® and add them to the bottom half of the door to create a field of flowers.
4. Complete the scene! We finished off this door display by scattering a couple of potted plants and dragonflies from the Well Wishes Bulletin Board Set around the well. Students will love seeing this cheerful “see you later” as they enter their classroom during the final weeks of school.
