Positive Pollinators Student Recognition Display

Recognize and inspire your students to be a part of upholding the classroom community. Using nature-inspired décor from the Good to Grow Collection, create a Positive Pollinators display that not only acts as a reminder of the classroom rules, but also acknowledges those students that are demonstrating the right behavior characteristics, like kindness, sharing, strong leadership, etc.

Directions

1. Cover the background of your display in light green paper, then trim the edges of the display with Vine Time Terrific Trimmers®. Write “Positive Pollinators” using Summer Morning Ready Letters® across the top of the display.
2. Add the potting bench with empty pots from the Well Wishes Bulletin Board Set to the display. Fill the empty pots with plants from the set.
3. Determine the behavior characteristics you want your students to model. You may want your students to help with this so they are all responsible for upholding the classroom community they want.
4. See if the premade garden signs that come with the Well Wishes Bulletin Board Set will work for your classroom rules, or make your own with the optional Garden Signs in the supplies list. Add your garden signs behind the plants. 
5. Decorate the rest of the display as you wish. We added garden pollinators like bees, butterflies, and dragonflies to help reinforce the idea of growing good characteristics in abundance. We also included the gnome, potted cactus, and shovel from the Well Wishes Bulletin Board Set, plus the buildable phrase, "Let's Grow" from the Always Welcome Bulletin Board Set to help set the scene.
6. Each week, or using the cadence of your choice, add new student faces to the pots to recognize those that have demonstrated each quality recently.
