Hey, Goal Getters! Set up an inspiring fundraiser display that BLOOMS with the Stepping Stones Learning Set. Whether you're a school raising funds for a new playground, a local library asking for support of a summer reading program, or a non-profit rallying for a great cause, this vibrant path will keep everyone excited to reach the goal.

Watch your progress GROW as you advance toward the fundraising goal, moving down the path and honoring donors along the way. Bring your path to life with colorful plants, meaningful messages, and cheerful critters that keep everyone cheering for each milestone!

Supplies
Directions
  1. Lay your foundation! Cover the background of your display in white paper, then add trim around the edge of the display with Teal Swirl Terrific Trimmers®.
  2. Plan your path! Start by deciding where your start and finish line will be and imagine the route your path may take in between. Using pieces from the Stepping Stones Learning Set, we hung the “Path to Success” sign at the start and the garden bench at the finish. Write the fundraising goal on the blank teal sign and add it to the bench, then hang the celebratory “Hooray!” sign above it.
  3. Mark your milestones! For this display we used 19 of the 20 stones from the Stepping Stones Learning Set and broke down the goal into $1000 increments. You get to decide how many stones you use and how you break down your goal into milestones. On each stone, write the dollar amount. See our supplies list if you need additional stones.
  4. Lay your garden path! With the start and finish in place, hang your garden path. We like to curve our path so we can nest other décor pieces along the edges. The curve also helps to highlight the ups and downs of any journey.
  5. Name your display! Write your fundraiser name along the top of the display. We used a combination of the uppercase Summer Morning Playful Ready Letters® and Garden Path Tile Ready Letters® to create ours.
  6. Make your garden lush! With your path in place, fill in the edges and the finish line with plants, critters, and lights from the Stepping Stones Learning Set. We also included custom messages along the path with phrases like “Making Progress” and “Let’s Keep Growing!” using the Garden Signs Classic Accents®.
  7. Honor your donors! Be sure to save space along the edges of the garden path to recognize each donor with the Garden Plants Classic Accents®. As donations are received, write the donor's name on the pot, and “plant” the accent along the path. Attach a file folder or large envelope to the bottom corner of the display to store your accents (36 accents in a pack). Students will love watching the garden GROW over time!
  8. Have room to swim? We had an awkward spot on our display that we filled in with a pond. We simply layered strips of Teal Swirls Terrific Trimmers® and trimmed the edges to different lengths (as shown) to give it a half-oval shape. Because we used the same Terrific Trimmers® along the edge of the display, it was easy to make the pond look like an extension of it. Tuck a happy frog in between the layers so it looks like it’s hopping out of the water! Pro Tip: Order a second set of Teal Swirls Terrific Trimmers® so you have enough for the edge of a standard 8-foot display and a good-sized pond.
  9. One step at a time! Once your path is ready to use, place your red hedgehog (or other critter of choice) at the start and begin your journey. Move your hedgehog along the path as your funds and garden GROW!
