Handy bag keeps homework organized and ready to go! Inspire kids to take ownership of their homework with an assignment “delivery” bag they get to decorate!
Supplies

- A gallon-sized plastic bag, scissors, a marker, tape, and sheets of multicolored paper
Directions
- Students bring a gallon-sized plastic bag from home to make their own homework bag. They personalize the bag by writing their name on an accent that is placed inside of it.
Activity
Once the bags are created:- Create a weekly Parent Sign-off Sheet on your favorite digital or printer-ready Terrific Papers® and add to the bag.
- Students cut the weekly teacher-created spelling word list into strips and place in a pocket they have labeled “Spelling Words”. Add to bag.
- Ask them to fill their bags with the day’s assignments to take home and return the next day. They’ll be proud to show off their organizational skills to you and their parents!
BONUS: Bags can hold other items too … such as drawings, parent notes, and awards.
