Turning on Cookies
in your Internet Browser
- In Netscape Navigator
Under the Options menu, select Network Preferences.
When the Preferences window appears, select the Protocols
tab. To disable the cookie warning, uncheck the box next
to Show an Alert Before Accepting a Cookie.
- In Netscape Communicator
Under the Edit menu, select Preferences. This
will bring up a window with some categories listed down the
left side of the window. Select the category Advanced.
Then, in the right side of the window, select the option
for cookies that you want: to turn them on, select either
Accept all cookies, or Only accept cookies originating
from the same server as the page being viewed.
- In Internet Explorer
Under the View menu, select Options.
When the Options window appears, select the Advanced
tab. To disable the cookie warning, uncheck the box next
to Warn before accepting cookies.
In new versions of Internet Explorer, also look under the
Options - Advanced tab, expand the Security
list, then expand the Cookies list. Check the Always accept
cookies option.
